I am as excited as anyone to have a space shuttle come to L.A. But it’s a shame that it has to come at such a high price, treewise.
No surprise that South L.A. is the neighborhood chosen to have hundreds of old trees leveled.
Studies show that neighborhoods with tall trees are safer and tearing down these trees is going to further destabilize a neighborhood that has struggled for decades.
